The Children's Bureau website carries information on child welfare programs, funding, monitoring, training and technical assistance, laws, statistics, research, Federal reporting, and much more. The "New on Site" section includes grant announcements, policy announcements, agency information, and recently released publications.
Recent additions to the site include:
- Program Instruction PI-09-11 provides guidance to Tribes on the Federal Advance Planning Document regulations that Tribes (like States) must comply with to claim title IV-B and/or title IV-E Federal financial participation for child welfare information technology projects, equipment, and services. - Program Instruction PI-09-08 provides a new title IV-E plan preprint to States and Tribes that elect to operate a title IV-E program pursuant to 479B of the Act. The title IV-E plan preprint incorporates the new statutory provisions made by P.L. 110-351 that are effective through fiscal year 2010.
