The Children's Bureau website carries information on child welfare programs, funding, monitoring, training and technical assistance, laws, statistics, research, Federal reporting, and much more. The "New on Site" section includes grant announcements, policy announcements, agency information, and recently released publications.

Recent additions to the site include:

  • ACYF-CB-IM-11-03—This Information Memorandum is designed to encourage child welfare agencies, foster and adoptive parents, and others who work with young people in foster care to ensure that the physical and emotional well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth in foster care is protected and supported (www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cb/laws_policies/policy/im/2011/im1103.htm).
