A new tip sheet from the Building Bridges Initiative provides guidance on outcome measurement for residential programs serving youth. Building Bridges is dedicated to advancing partnerships among residential and community-based service providers, youth, and families.

The tip sheet was developed with youth, families, and staff from residential and community programs and aims to help these programs sustain positive outcomes achieved by youth who received residential mental health services. Divided into three sections, the tip sheet provides information on the Context for Outcomes Measurement; A Practical Guide to Implementing an Outcomes Measurement System; and Other Issues and Concerns.

Building Bridges also produced a handbook for provider organizations interested in expanding the youth voice and adding peer youth advocates positions to their teams. The handbook includes training and technical assistance tools.
