December/January 2013Vol. 13, No. 11Practice Model Reflective Thinking Guide
Positioning Public Child Welfare Guidance, an initiative of the American Public Human Services Association, released a reflective thinking guide for child welfare agencies. The guide is intended to help agencies evaluate their child welfare practice model.
Using the four critical areas of the Guidance model—strategy, key processes, operations, and implementation—the guide is designed to help child welfare agencies identify areas of strength and growth. Each of the four levels of work is associated with a number of questions aimed at helping agencies more strategically reach their desired outcomes.
