The Children's Bureau Legacy: Ensuring the Right to Childhood (ISBN = 9780160917226) combines compelling text with striking images to recount the Children's Bureau's efforts to address vital issues—from reducing high infant mortality and eradicating child labor to preventing child abuse and neglect and promoting permanency for children and youth.
