In October 2015, the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) released a two-volume special issue of Child Welfare dedicated to families in child welfare affected by substance use. Article topics include cross-system collaboration, family drug court program compliance, peer mentoring, intensive family preservation services, and others. This new issue is an update from the 2001 special issue that focused on parental substance use disorders among families in child welfare.
