Fosterparentcollege.com is a nationally recognized training resource for adoptive, kinship, and foster parents. The multimedia, interactive training courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are taught by child welfare experts.

It provides the following types of workshops:

  • Advanced parenting workshops that address anger, lying, and self-harm issues in children and youth; social and physical aggression; taking things without permission; and more
  • Behavior management courses focusing on anger outbursts, children with autism, children with eating disorders, reactive attachment disorder, and more
  • Parenting strategies courses focusing on caring for children who have been sexually abused, child abuse and neglect, child safety and supervision, cultural issues, and more
  • Preservice training focusing on going from foster care to adoption, supporting normalcy, understanding behavior in foster children, working together with primary families, and more
