New! On the Children's Bureau Site

The Children's Bureau website carries information on child welfare programs, funding, monitoring, training and technical assistance, laws, statistics, research, Federal reporting, and much more. The "New on Site" section includes grant announcements, policy announcements, agency information, and recently released publications.

Recent additions to the site include:

  • Program Instruction (PI) 10-1, which provides interested State title IV-E agencies and Tribes with revised instructions on how to implement and operate the Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP) title IV-E plan option as authorized by the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008, Public Law (P.L.) 110-351 (www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cb/laws_policies/policy/pi/2010/pi1001.htm)
