New! On the Children's Bureau Site
The Children's Bureau website carries information on child welfare programs, funding, monitoring, training and technical assistance, laws, statistics, research, Federal reporting, and much more. The "New on Site" section includes grant announcements, policy announcements, agency information, and recently released publications.
Recent additions to the site include:
- Program Instruction (PI)-11-03 addresses the availability of fiscal year 2011 Children's Justice Act grants to States under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA).
- Link to Notice of Allotment Percentages to States for Child Welfare Services State Grants (Volume 76, Number 35); the allotment percentages are one of the factors used in the computation of the Federal grants awarded under the Title IV–B Subpart 1, Child Welfare Services State Grants Program.
- Technical Bulletins 3 and 4 for the National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) cover Data Quality Advisories and System User Roles and Responsibilities.
