Webinar Series: Predictive Analytics in Child Protection

The National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) hosted a three-part webinar series titled Predictive Analytics in Child Protection. According to the NCCD, predictive analytics is a learning tool that looks at past experiences and data to determine the probability of future events. The series explores how child welfare organizations and professionals can use predictive analytics to enhance resources and improve the well-being of children and families by learning from past practices.

The webinars in the series focus the following three topics:

  • "Predictive Analytics and Child Protection: Constraints and Opportunities"
  • "Three Examples of Predictive Analytics in Child Protection"
  • "Being a Good Consumer of Predictive Analytics in Child Protection"
