Assessment Training for Medical Providers
The National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement has developed a video and supportive materials to help train medical students and primary health care providers in screening and assessing patients at risk of domestic violence and child abuse. The training materials, which were developed by medical professionals and professionals who work with victims of domestic violence, provide a realistic look at situations that often confront health care providers. It Never Hurts to Ask. You May Save A Life.
