The California Social Work Education Center (CalSWEC) recently published training materials for a new curriculum, "Concurrent Planning: Multiple Pathways to Permanence." This interdisciplinary training for child welfare staff, attorneys, care providers, and other community partners encourages collaboration among all team members to improve permanency outcomes for children, youth, and families. The curriculum is organized around four areas:
- Leadership
- Concurrent planning essentials
- Practice skills
- Partnerships
The training materials include information on a facilitated process for county administrative teams to assess their concurrent planning processes prior to implementing the curriculum. Download the training materials on the CalSWEC website:
