The Children's Bureau website carries information on child welfare programs, funding, monitoring, training and technical assistance, laws, statistics, research, Federal reporting, and much more. The "New on Site" section includes grant announcements, policy announcements, agency information, and recently released publications.
Recent additions to the site include:
- Promising Approaches: Virginia—The Promising Approaches webpages provide short program descriptions that come to light as a result of the Child and Family Services Reviews (CFSRs) or Program Improvement Plans (PIPs). Programs are listed by State and by general topic area. Virginia's Ambassadors Program (for recruiting permanent connections for youth) and Respite Care for Intact Families Program are described: http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cb/cwmonitoring/promise/states.htm#round2
