- The National Abandoned Infants Assistance Resource Center (AIA) offers two free online tutorials that can be used to earn continuing education (CE) credits (http://aia.berkeley.edu/training/tutorials/onlinetutorials.php):
- "Women and Children with HIV/AIDS" provides participants with a better understanding of the prevalence, nature and impact of HIV/AIDS on this population, as well as treatment and intervention.
- "Substance Use During Pregnancy: Prevalence, Impact and Solutions" reviews the potential impact of prenatal exposure to various legal and illegal drugs on infant development and well-being and examines interventions for the prevention and treatment of drug use during pregnancy, from identification and education to individual and family based services.
- The National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare (NCSACW) has developed "Bringing Families Together: Models of Hope and Recovery," which describes a 10-element framework of system linkages, to help States, Tribes, and local communities overcome barriers and identify strategies for effective partnerships between mental health services, substance use treatment, child welfare, and family courts: http://www.ncsacw.samhsa.gov/improving/improving-video.aspx
